By Web Team

The Center for Electrochemical Dynamics and Reactions on Surfaces (CEDARS) at North Carolina A&T has been named the 2025 Interdisciplinary Team of the Year. The award recognizes research projects that transcend disciplinary boundaries and are supported by external funding.

CEDARS was selected for its impactful collaborations spanning four colleges and two institutions, including partnerships with MIT, Cornell, Dartmouth, Carnegie Mellon, University of Colorado, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. The team’s efforts have engaged 17 faculty and scientists, 18 graduate students, 10 undergraduates, and 9 postdoctoral fellows in cutting-edge research and education.

Chancellor James R. Martin II will formally recognize the team at the upcoming Celebration of Faculty Excellence.
